Uganda's digital advertising sector is experiencing rapid growth, with connected TV becoming a key channel for brands targeting urban and youth demographics. The increasing internet penetration and smartphone adoption are driving higher viewership of connected TV content, leading to an estimated USD 45 million in ad revenue by 2026. Marketers are reallocating budgets towards connected TV to capitalize on its engaging, high-quality content delivery.
This shift is supported by the rising digital penetration, which now exceeds half of the population. As advertisers recognize the effectiveness of connected TV in reaching targeted audiences, investments are expected to grow further, making it a significant component of Uganda's overall digital advertising landscape. With improved infrastructure and content availability, connected TV's role in digital marketing is set to expand rapidly.
