The total revenue from affiliate marketing has reached approximately USD 150 million, reflecting increased digital engagement across sectors like retail, finance, and telecom.
The digital landscape in Uganda continues to expand, with 59% of the population now connected to the internet. The affiliate marketing community has grown to around 12,000 active marketers, leveraging social media and mobile platforms. The average conversion rate of 4.2% indicates improving effectiveness of campaigns, driven by targeted content and local influencer collaborations, solidifying Uganda’s position in East Africa’s digital economy.
