The total number of reported cyber incidents has increased to approximately 4,850, reflecting growing digital activity and cyber threats. Financial losses continue to mount, with estimated damages reaching ₸1.2 billion, underscoring the need for enhanced cybersecurity measures and user awareness programs.
The government has allocated around ₸450 million to improve cybersecurity infrastructure and conduct awareness campaigns. Nearly 78 initiatives focused on educating the public about online threats have been rolled out, aiming to reduce successful phishing attempts. As digital reliance grows, Kyrgyzstan faces the ongoing challenge of strengthening its defenses against cybercrime and protecting its citizens' digital assets.
