Investment in AI has totaled around €12 million, emphasizing Kosovo's commitment to digital transformation and innovation, while the startup ecosystem continues to expand with 45 active AI startups.
Despite these advancements, Kosovo still faces challenges related to data infrastructure, which scored 6.8 out of 10, indicating room for improvement. Continued investments and policy support are essential to enhance AI integration across sectors such as healthcare, finance, and agriculture. Strengthening digital infrastructure will further boost AI model performance and adoption, positioning Kosovo as a budding AI hub in the region.
